As part of Black History Month, the Schooltime Series brings this New York Times bestseller and the award-winning one-woman adaptation of it to Popejoy Hall. A young girl's search for the truth about her mother leads her to three beekeeping sisters and the discovery of the real meaning of family. Set during the Civil Rights Movement, this show also addresses: race/racism, voting rights, community and perseverance.

This performance includes both a 15 minute pre-show and post-show educational component as part of the show.
