Seating Policy
- Pay Together, Arrive Together, Sit Together
- Orchestra section seating will be assigned to those who pay earliest. Once the orchestra section is full, the remaining groups will be assigned to the
mezzanine and balcony sections.
- Seating within each section remains on a first-come, first-seated basis.
- Groups must pay together to be assigned to the same section, and enter the hall together to sit together.
- To expedite seating, complete groups must check in with an usher prior to entering the building.
- Look for the sign outside and wait for an usher to escort your group to the appropriate door leading into the lobby.
- Groups completely assembled are escorted inside for check-in by order of arrival.
> If you choose to use restrooms prior to seating, the entire group must be reassembled before you enter the hall. This may change your place in line.
- Have your admission ticket clearly visible at the front of the line.
- An usher will take your admission ticket and escort you to the next step of check-in.
- To better serve smaller groups, we have designated a check-in area just for groups of fewer than 10. Please wait to be escorted inside by an usher.
- We recommend that each teacher place his/her own order.
- It allows us to keep every class and its chaperones sitting together.
- If schools have several classes attending, they do not have to wait for the others to be seated. However, they do have to have their entire class assembled.
- Unless you pay at the same time and arrive at the same time, we may not be able to keep the entire school together.
- At house discretion, where we have a wide range of grades at one performance, we may place older students behind younger ones within designated sections.
- All groups, regardless of size, are asked to fill in every empty seat.
- Schooltime shows are often sold out, which means we cannot leave any empty seats.
- We work with very tight time constraints to seat everyone in time for the performance.
- We will do our best to keep small groups together but there are no special sections except for ADA special needs.
- You do not have your choice of seats.
- If there is a concern, contact an usher. Please do not reseat yourselves.
- We ask adults and taller patrons to be aware of smaller children behind you and adjust your position so they may see.
- Special Needs Students and Groups
- Please clearly designate on your order form that you require ADA attention.
- Special needs students will always be seated in the orchestra section with at least one chaperone, and if possible, a friend.
- We cannot guarantee these students will be seated with their class.
- Hearing impaired classes will be seated together in the orchestra.
- After payment, please notify Patron Services at 277-3170 as soon as possible to coordinate your sign language interpreter’s needs.
We are looking forward to hosting a wonderful and exciting season for you and your class.
