Transportation & Parking
Please coordinate bus transportation with other teachers in your school.
• For your safety, UNM has created very specific bus routes and drop-off and pick-up locations and times. We will send you a map to give to your bus driver(s). Please copy as needed. Please note the permit that must be placed in the bus window to avoid a fine.
• We are unable to make parking arrangements for private vehicles on the main campus because classes are in session.
• For those that must use cars, vans or small buses for transportation, free parking is offered in the east parking lot of the UNM Football Stadium (UNM’s South Lot). Free red and white shuttles will take you and your group to the Yale Mall (a short walk to Popejoy Hall). Maps with instructions for remote parking and UNM shuttles will be sent to the name on the order form. These vehicles require a permit clearly displayed on the dashboard window. It will be included in your packet. Please copy as needed.
• Classes planning to arrive early or leave late must coordinate with parking
authorities on site.
> After your group is dropped off, your bus will move to the South Lot. You must coordinate the time to return for pick-up with your driver.
